2011 was a year to remember and a year I’ll never forget.

  • It was the year I got my business license in the State of Alabama and officially made it official (come February it will be a year!).
  • I *attempted* P90x.
  • I became an Aunt and realized I have so much love I don’t even know how to express.
  • I racked up quite the mileage driving to and from Alabama to Ohio.. so thankful it’s only a 6 hour drive! (but seriously, most of the time my family and friends didn’t where I was).
  • I ran a Huntsville Groupon Deal of the Day which has allowed me to meet so many wonderful families and couples! I am extremely grateful for its success so far!
  • The first of my friends started getting hitched (meaning mini reunions)!
  • I celebrated my one year anniversary working part-time for Bella Baby Photography… which also means I’ve been in Huntsville for over a year now!
  • I realized just how admirable, loving and inspirational grandparents are. I hope I never forget the times I shared with them. Lots of love to A.F., Papa, Grandma Jody and Nana. Miss you always.

2011 was a whirlwind. It was a year of growth. New adventures, travels and traditions. I’m so glad I had my camera along to capture it all. It was a delight going through these images from this past year. Thank you all again for allowing me to share in this time!

Now for a look back.. Enjoy!

P.S. Most of these sessions never got blogged and I am 100% guilty! They’ll be coming soon though!! And a giveaway is to follow! (Hint.. it’ll be time to pick your favorites of 2011!)

Laura was one of the 5 winners from the Facebook Giveaway held in March, which won her a free lifestyle portrait session. I had the pleasure of photographing Laura and her family during my stay in Massachusetts (while I’m still patiently waiting for my sister to have her baby!). Laura is also expecting, and her due date is right around the corner. We combined a maternity and family session into one and I’ll be honest it was hard to narrow it all down! I’m excited to share these, so I hope you enjoy! Thank you again Laura, Ryan, Ethan and Tyler-to-be!

Laura, you’re glowing! I’m so happy to have captured you during this special time!

This was an outtake, but I loved this moment Laura had with Ethan.

He’s such a ham!

They started whistling to one another and it was the cutest thing ever!

I adore this next set of Ethan. He was preparing the fire pit. And so focused.

Be sure to leave your comments below! I love hearing your thoughts!

I first introduced my sister Sarah, and her husband Doug, when she was 8 weeks pregnant. CLICK HERE. Wow has time flown by! Here she is at 34 weeks. And she’s glowing ๐Ÿ™‚ We are all anxious for the first baby, niece, and granddaughter to arrive! Below are some of my favorites from our belly session!

2010. What an amazing year it was. I just want to say thank you to my family and friends, and all who follow, for the support. An especially HUGE thanks to Carmen and the Blink of an Eye Photography team for building my confidence and my portfolio. I wouldn’t be where I am today without everyone who has helped me along the way. And to my clients (and future clients!), thank you for the opportunity to capture your memories. It is truly an honor. As most of you know, this year was full of transitions. The move from Dayton to Cincinnati and finally to Huntsville, AL, along with all of the traveling, had me bouncing around everywhere! I can finally say I feel settled here in the south. I am so excited for what is to come in 2011. Below is the year 2010 “in review.” It was so fun going through these photos and thinking of where I started to where I am now. It reminded me of how much I simply love what I do! THANK YOU AGAIN!

It has been way, way too long… but I’m back! And with a new look! I should start with a quick catch up. After graduating from the University of Dayton more than a year ago (ahh!), I joined Carmen and the Blink of an Eye team to continue doing what I love. Blink of an Eye Photography is a studio that specializes in lifestyle photography and utilizes natural light. Images are full of life and color ๐Ÿ™‚ Words cannot describe my time there. Carmen was and is a great mentor, and I’m the photographer I am now because of my experience. The imagery below is some of the work I did as an associate photographer, which I’m excited to share with you! From here, I’m continuing my journey… and I hope you join me!
